(Salisbury, MD) — Salisbury – Ocean City: Wicomico Regional Airport announces that Christopher Davidson, Assistant Airport Manager – Business Development, Edward Jackson, Operations Maintenance Supervisor, and Christine King, Airport Maintenance Technician, have successfully completed the Airport Certified Employee (ACE) program for Airport Operations. ACE Operations is a comprehensive certification program sponsored by the American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE). Geared toward certificated public use airports such as SBY, ACE teaches Federal Aviation Administration Part 139 curriculum designed to educate and challenge airport personnel with airfield operations responsibilities. Certification requires successful passage of a grueling 100 question written final exam. “I am extremely proud of Chris, Ed, and Christine for taking the initiative to expand their knowledge base and dedicate time and hard work in attaining this certification. It’s very impressive, and will benefit the airport greatly,” noted Tony Rudy, A.A.E., Airport Manager. “This demonstrates our team’s dedication and level of commitment to safety and professionalism in serving the traveling public.”
