For those donations between $50-$100 (Bronze Sponsors) and from $100 up to $200 (Silver Sponsors) we will place the company’s logo, by-line, and contact information on our SBY Wings & Wheels 2017 web page, on a general Sponsor Banner during the event, and in the event Program. In addition to the above we will, for donations of $200 or more (Gold Sponsors), place their company’s advertising banner (3 ft by 6 ft) that they provide, on the entrance fence or hangar wall in a prominent place and provide a table/booth for their commercial displays.
The SBY Pilot Association is an aviation social club established under IRS regulation 501(c)(7) as a non-profit organization. Its sole purpose is to raise and manage funds for and run SBY Wings & Wheels 2017. As such the SBY pilot Association has established a banking account to which it will deposit sponsor funds and pay the legitimate costs of running the fly-in to include, but not be limited to, advertising and promotion, signs and crowd control apparatus, toilets and hand washing stations, golf carts and transportation, tables and tents, and music.
Sponsors will be asked to make their donations payable to the “SBY Pilot Association” and send them to SBY Pilot Association, C/O SBY Regional Airport Administrative Offices, 5485 Airport Terminal Rd., Unit A, Salisbury, MD 21804. When the SBY Pilot Association receives a check from a Sponsor the SBY Pilot Association will acknowledge receiving the donation by responding with a written letter to the donor. Please note that because the SBY Pilot Association is not a 501(c)(3) organization, sponsor donations are not tax deductible as a charitable contribution.
